Integrating New Leadership Date:   Tuesday , December 01, 2009 With over seven years of experience, Vinod Kumar is recently appointed as the Country Manager of Integration Group (SIG), SWAFE Business Process Management. As part of the SIG team, he will be responsible for developing the IT strategy and IT infrastructure business. Prior to SWAFE Business Process Management, Kumar was the Head - Presales and business development at one of the HP Data Center Primer Partners. Significantly, being certified by HP, EMC, Oracle, and SAP India he has designed, developed, and implemented several Data Centers in the country. Kumar attributes his success to his core and deep knowledge on technology solutions, which is solely customer centric. Constantly working for the customers, Kumar also opines that a business leader should have an extra-visionary approach for his organization. He should work along with his team to reach the desired goal. He also advises the young upcoming techies to develop a deep understanding on the technology they are working in, rather than running after success blindly. Apart from his business acumen, Kumar is also an eloquent speaker and have spoken at various CIO forums and leadership summits like Microsoft CIO Meet and PC Quest SMB Forum. He loves to spend his time with family and also enjoys traveling. He did his bachelor’s degree in computer science from MSRIT, Bangalore.
