MosPay InfoTech is a mobile products and solutions company focusing on learning and information, its main target segments are mobile carriers, handset makers, training schools, universities and enterprises. It delivers applications to the mobile carriers, who in turn offer it on the subscribers’ handsets by charging them for the service. It also provides the applications to handset makers, who sell the handset to customers by embedding the applications into the handset. The mobile learning brand for MosPay is Mguruji.

Interestingly, MosPay provides a platform for delivering mobile learning and info contents to its customers like carriers, handsets, training schools, which offer various study materials through the application for its users or students. The training schools either give the content to MosPay for using it in their applications, or the schools themselves upload the contents by using the online system that the company has developed.

Company’s USP:

MosPay claims that they have the applications that run on both GSM and CDMA, while its competitors can offer services only on GSM handsets. As of now, its competitors focus only on one segment of the market, while MosPay believes that it has a first mover advantage by diversifying into all the segments.

Roadmap:

The company plans to take its applications to different technologies, by offering it to Android, iPhone and BlackBerry users. It also plans to expand its presence to markets outside India.
