iPhone4 to Hit Indian Market by September 2010

The much awaited smartphone by Apple, iPhone4 is finally coming to India in September. It uses the advanced LG LCD display technology, namely In-Plane Switching technology (IPS), which is better than the OLED technology as it provides sharper text, images, and videos. It has an upgraded operating system, iOS 4.0, and a new feature of high definition display called Retina that gives four times better resolution than iPhone 3G. Apart from that, it is 9.3 mm thick and has a built-in 5 MP camera. The other regular features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, video recording, photo and video geo-tagging, and support for display of multiple languages. The handset delivers seven hours of talk time on 3G networks, up to ten hours of Web browsing on Wi-Fi 802.11n, up to six hours on 3G, and up to 10 hours to 40 hours of video playback. The Quad band HSUPA provides 7.2 mbps downlink and 5.8 mbps uplink capability. The 16GB version will be available for Rs. 35,500 and the price tag for the 32GB version will be Rs. 41,500.
