PurpleLeap, an entry level talent management company, is venturing in the robotics education in the country. The company has teamed up with Robhatah, a Singapore-based robotics education firm to offer specialized courses to engineering colleges in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Amit Bansal, CEO, PurpleLeap, said, "Robotics in India is still at a nascent stage. Since the adoption rates are low here, it creates a huge potential for the field to grow. PurpleLeap, along with Robhatah, aim to spread the growing field, which worldwide is a $100 billion industry."

The robotics education initiative will reach out to 1500 students in 30 colleges, across 12 states, including Tamilnadu, Rajasthan, Haryana and others. PurpleLeap will set up the labs required for the course, which will cost the students an affordable Rs. 10,000. The course will comprise training in a hybrid learning fashion. This would include VSAT learning, online and onsite.
