Bangalore Real Estate Awards 2013: Date:   Wednesday , August 28, 2013 With the availability of advanced civic amenities like an International airport in the outskirts of the city, IT hubs and software parks, malls, recent metro expansion and also a cosmopolitan evolving population with high income levels migrating into the city; Bangalore has made its mark in the national real estate chart. On the journey of transformation into the real estate capital of the country, developers as well as landowners and investors are rising to the challenge of consolidating firm infrastructure coupled with innovative ways to attract customers. SiliconIndia in association with Axis Bank have created a platform as an initiative to felicitate and recognize these real estate industry professionals who have contributed to the evolving landscape of the sector in the city by hosting the Bangalore Real Estate Awards 2013. The award was also sponsored by Quadra Software Solution, a provider of ERP solutions, as a technology partner. The event is a continuation of the success of first edition of the award. The event was inaugurated with a keynote from Alexander Moore, CEO, LJ Hooker-India. The ceremony was ushered by a speech from Jairam Sridharan, President & Head Consumer Lending at Axis Bank Ltd. Over 100 nominations were received from across the city from builders and developers who nominated one project per category. After an aggressive short listing, a distinguished panel comprising of four jury members – Siva Kyasa, Regional Director, RE/MAX, and Bangalore; Christo Jacob, Managing Editor, SiliconIndia; Dr. B. C. Udayashankar, Head of Civil Engineering, R. V. College of Engineering; and Harsha Babu KV, Principal Architect, M/S Harsha Design Associates - decided on the awardees. The awards are based in terms of innovation, quality, reliability, technology and continuous improvement. On this note 12 categories were instituted so as to encourage infrastructure development, foreign investments in the local bodies and real estate growth and companies. The award ceremony commenced with the Young Achievers Award under which the dynamic and upcoming young stars were felicitated. The award under this category was won by Ashish Puravankara, Director, Puravankara Projects. The second ‘Young Achiever Award’ was won by Priyanka Mantri, Director, Mantri Developers. The award for the ‘Female Real Estate Professional’ of the year was fetched by Syed Zarina Begum- director of Aban developers. The other winners and their categories are as follows: Ultra Luxury Project of the Year for Bangalore North, East and South Ultra Luxury Project of the Year for Bangalore North was won by Sobha Developers Ltd. for their project ‘Sobha Lifestyle’. For Bangalore East, the winner for the same category was Hebron Properties Pvt. Ltd. for their project ‘Hebron Enclave’. Another winner for the category was Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd. for Bangalore South for their project ‘Mantri DSK Pinnacle’. Luxury Project of the Year for Bangalore North, East, West and South Luxury Project of the Year for Bangalore North was won by Godrej Properties Ltd. for the project ‘Godrej Platinum’ accompanied by Habitat Ventures for Bangalore East for the project ‘Habitat Crest’. For Bangalore West, the winner was Golden Gate Properties Ltd. for the project ‘Golden Grand’ and for Bangalore South, SNN Builders Pvt. Ltd. won the award for their project ‘SNN Raj Lakeview’. Residential Plot Development of the Year Century Real Estate Holdings Pvt. Ltd. won the award Residential Plot Development of the Year for their project ‘Century Eden’ from North Bangalore. For their project ‘Sunshine Hills’, BlueJay won the award from West Bangalore. For South of Bangalore, NBR Developers won the award for their project ‘NBR Meadows’. Mid Range Housing Project of the Year for Bangalore North and South The award for the category Mid Range Housing Project of the Year for Bangalore North was won by Puravankara Projects Ltd. for their project ‘Purva Venezia’. For Bangalore South, the winner was Salarpuria Sattva for their project ‘Greenage’. Affordable Housing Project of the Year for Bangalore North, East and South Provident Housing Ltd. won the award for Affordable Housing Project of the Year for Bangalore North for their project ‘Provident Welworth City’. For Bangalore East, Sovereign Developers won this award for their project ‘Sovereign Unnathi’. For Bangalore South, Aswani Properties won for their project ‘Aswani Sitara’. Environment Friendly Project of the Year for Bangalore North and East Biodiversity Conservation India Pvt. Ltd. won the award for Environment Friendly Project of the Year for their project ‘Zed Earth’ for North Bangalore followed by NVT Quality Life Style Projects Pvt. Ltd. for their project ‘NVT Orchid Garden’ from East Bangalore. Emerging Developer of the Year of the Year for Bangalore North, East and West For the category Emerging Developer of the Year, the award was won by Bhartiya City Developers Pvt. Ltd. for North Bangalore, Mana Projects Pvt. Ltd. won the award for East Bangalore, DS-MAX for West Bangalore and Commune Properties India Pvt. Ltd. for South Bangalore. Smart Home Project of the Year for Bangalore East and West The Best Smart Home Project of the Year for the project ‘Mantri Espana’ was won by Mantri Developers. For the Integrated Township of the Year, the winner was FIRE Luxur Developers Pvt. Ltd. for their project ‘The Empyrean’ from East Bangalore. The Commercial Property of the year award from Bangalore West was won by Brigade Group for their project ‘Brigade Rubix’. The Award Ceremony was a great success with deserved acknowledgement among the real estate professionals who continue to strive in improving the real estate ecosystem of Bangalore.
