Huawei Launches MediaPad Tablet

Chinese telecom giant, Huawei, has forayed into the tablet space with the launch of MediaPad, world’s first 7 inch honey comb tablet. It runs on Android 3.2 powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm chipset. The device has thin frame with a width of 10.5mm and weighs around 390 grams. It is capable of playing 1080p videos and it comes with an HDMI out. The tablet has a 5 megapixel camera which is capable of recording at 720p and also has a 1.3 megapixel camera in the front. The device is compatible with Flash 10.3. The company also promises a 6 hours continuous battery life.
