VD: As a member of the quality assurance team it is my responsibility, along with that of my team, to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering a product that meets customer business flows and is rigorously tested. ST: What do you like about your job? VD: I feel proud of the fact that a product built entirely in India is competing successfully with established players from Western markets. ST: What do you find challenging about your job? VD: Given the complex domain of commodity trading and risk management, it’s always challenging to be fully knowledgeable about the product features and customer requirements. ST: What have you found that makes your job easier? VD: I strongly believe that planning properly in advance is a critical success factor, along with training and updating skills. This provides control and manageability, and a feeling of satisfaction when the job is completed. ST: What are your hobbies? VD: I love gardening and my house is filled with all kinds of exotic plants. I can play the veena well and I am also a vocalist.
