Channeling deliverables

An avid cricket and food lover, T. Sivaraman enjoys listening to music, socializing with friends, and practising his newly acquired culinary skills. He has been with Dax Networks for the past 13 years and recently took over as the Head of Channel. He joined Dax (formerly known as Apcom Computers) in a new division called Apcom Advantage, which was in its formative stages and started selling networking products through distribution channels. Sivaraman took up the challenge of appointing distributors and helping them succeed through the dealers, resellers, and system integrators in the territory. This proved to be a turning point for him as the channel model clicked very well in his territory and propelled his sales career in Channels.

As a leader, he believes clear and open communication. Consistency and teamwork are his strengths that contribute to his success every time. In his new role his challenge is to create and promote successful ADSPs (Authorized Dax Solution Providers) across the country with the help of his sales team. He finds this quite exciting and interesting, since each ADSP needs specific deliverables to succeed in his target market.

As a person who does not regret his decisions, he advises young professionals that while one needs to stay focused in his job, steady, consistent, and long-term approach pays in the end. If one believes that every day at work brings a new learning, the career graph keeps growing consistently.
