PB: Meeting with inventors to discuss their inventions, and then preparing patent applications describing the particular inventions in detail. The patent is subsequently filed with a desired patent office. ST: What do you like about your job? PB: Learning something new from each patent, as I come across different fields of science and technology in my job. ST: What do you find challenging about your job? PB: Trying to closely incorporate every aspect of an invention in a patent without impacting its novelty. ST: What have you found that makes your job easier? PB: Having a thorough understanding of inventions, discussing them with seniors, and uninterrupted time to draft a patent. ST: What are your hobbies? PB: Reading books, watching movies, painting, and traveling.
