Oracle to Continue Providing Retail Applications to Megamart Date:   Monday , August 03, 2009 The software firm Oracle and retail brand Megamart in Bangalore have entered the second phase of their tie up, which will go live at the end of this year. The first phase of the tie up went live in April 2008. The tie up has benefited Megamart in terms of increasing production and warehouse-to-shop performance. “This IT initiative is a big boost for our retail business, in terms of improving our operational efficiencies and service to our stores,” says J Suresh, CEO, Arvind Brands and Retail. Megamart will implement the planning, allocation, and analytics modules of Oracle retail in the second phase.
