Scaling the Organization’s Business Date:   Friday , May 07, 2010 With more than 15 years of comprehensive human resources (HR) experience, Easwaran Krishnan is appointed as the Head of HR at Aptech. Krishnan will direct the company’s human resources functions to ensure that they align with the company’s objectives. Describing his current role, Krishnan explains, “I am excited about the opportunity to guide Aptech’s practices at this time.” Prior to joining Aptech, he was serving Barclays Bank PLC based in Mauritius as Head - HR for the Retail and Commercial Bank. He has also served in several other companies including Bank Muscat International, Development Credit Bank, Blue Star Infotech, L&T Infotech, and DHL. Krishnan believes that a leader should have proper business acumen to guide his team members in a proper direction. He also opines, “Getting under the skin of business and facilitating the strategy and increasing the business operations of the company have been the major factors for my successful career.” Holding on to similar convictions, he advises the young technology professionals to keep themselves abreast with the technology and ‘to dig deep in what they do’. Apart from work, Krishnan enjoys listening to music, reading books, and playing sports. He is an MBA from the SIBM, Pune.
