Established in 1984 in Vadodara, in a matter of few years the B School saw a huge increase in their student intake due to the quality of education they were providing. The quality of education is an accumulation of good faculty members, strict regime and a very elaborate curriculum set by the governing and the founding university which is the Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda.
The curriculum is designed to give an optimum learning experience to the students, the institution is known for their international collaborations. FMS Baroda maintains an international collaboration with more than 30 universities abroad for student and faculty exchange programs and joint research projects. The universities where most of the students go for exchange programs are University of Leicester, UK, SIAST, Canada and Virginia Commonwealth University. Apart from international relations the institute is known for their excellent industry connect program, they take the students for industry visits every week and also host regular industry and academic interaction. The students get familiar with the industry trends through the regular visits and the lectures given by the prominent speakers from the industry. The institute is ranked among the top five management institutes in the country under a university.
