DIT University Date:   Monday , June 13, 2016 Dehradun Institute of Technology, a private University located in the Doon Valley, is a flagship of the Unison group. The institute has a rich 18 year old history in seeking to provide quality education for its students. Gaining university status in the year 2013, DITU has grown from strength to strength over the years on a backbone of qualified and eminent faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure and a guiding vision to develop competent, ethically and morally strong leaders for industry and the society. The University boasts of a sterling placement record with 85 percent for this academic year with some of the biggest companies as major recruiters such as Cognizant, IBM and even the Indian Navy. This is possible through the thoroughness of the institute\'s placement and training centre that provide rigorous pre-placement training. The University also places strong focus on research and development projects that provide their students experience. With 24 projects currently being worked on, the university even motivates new faculty by providing them seed money to begin their own research. From adopting an orphanage to providing scholarships for students, the university also has a strong sense of social responsibility which it translates to its students.
