Teachers are not only passionate about teaching, but also about the ends that they serve. Perhaps, that is what makes them great - knowing that they serve a purpose larger than they do. Sneha Tapadia, CEO of Jumpstart Preschool, always wanted to be a teacher who can foster kids in a different manner. Hence, eight years back when she started Jumpstart in Pune, she was well determined about the quality of education that had to be imparted for the holistic growth and development of the child. \"Preschool is an unorganized market and there is no government authority that checks its curriculum and the way its run. To create a good space in such a field, we work with many innovative strategies,\" says Sneha.

For Sneha, Jumpstart is not only a business. Hence, she ensures that the administration process at Jumpstart is transparent and takes regular feedback from parents. \"We have a committee of parents, which is free to enter the school at any time to have a hygiene check and also to see the way teachers are handling kids. We believe in working in close co-ordination with the parents,\" says Sneha. Through mobile app, the preschool shares the photos and images of kids and conducts open house meetings with parents to keep them updated with the child\'s progress on a regular basis.

Today, Jumpstart is not only accepted because of their transparency. Indeed, the special facilities provided by the management attract large number of parents to drop their kids at Jumpstart. The preschool brings the latest technology for the better learning. Jumpstart has an interactive room wherein the entire floor is made touch censored and the educational materials are projected on the floor, which facilitates the child to interact with the materials. \"As there is no light reflection, it\'s safe for their eyes,\" claims Sneha. In a way, the interaction enables learning through play and fun.
Sneha and her team at Jumpstart believe in experiential learning and thus include many events with active student participation. Jumpstart\'s 360-degree program that is equipped to develop a child\'s overall skills aims to make the kids independent. Along with play way method, they also follow a Project method, Glenn Doman method and the Montessori Method. \"The Indian education system values only intelligence related to good language and Math skills. However, every individual is blessed with different kinds of intelligence and to create an understanding on it, we focus on Multiple Intelligence Approach,\" opines Sneha. At Jumpstart, the overall performance of the kid is well evaluated by the trained teachers who are passionate about teaching young children to bringing out the best in them. Today, with around 300 kids in all three centers, Jumpstart is trying to bring a revolution in the child development centers focusing on the holistic growth and development of the kids

After completing graduation in biotechnology and postgraduation in management, Sneha pursued her diploma in early childhood education. Jumpstart is the only school, which was awarded across all seven categories of quality education like use of latest technology, parent partnership, use of nature in education, developmentally appropriate practices, innovative techniques in number education, innovative techniques in reading education and inclusive education by Early Childhood Association in 2016.
