MANIT: Empowering the Future Generation with Quality Knowledge Date:   Sunday , February 26, 2017 Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), also known as National Institute of Technology, Bhopal (NIT Bhopal) is an institution of national importance under NIT Act, Bhopal. The Department of Management Studies (DMS) of MANIT was established in 1960 and boasts of highly qualified faculty members offering expertise in two-year full time Master’s programme in Business Administration (MBA), full time Doctoral Programme in Management Studies and part time Doctoral Programme in Management Studies. The programmes of the Department of Management Studies (DMS) of MANIT are curated to respond to intellectual and practical requirements of the business and industry. The campus has played host to companies like Microsoft, Facebook, Google, HP, Persistent during its placement season. The MANIT ROLTA Incubation Centre plays a principle role in promoting entrepreneurship on the campus and the Intellectual Property Rights Cell helps in securing patents and publishing formulated by the faculty and students on MANIT campus. The institute has been ranked as one of the top 20 institutes in India. It truly lives by its motto, ‘Knowledge is the greatest jewel’ and has been successful in establishing international collaborations and MOUs with foreign universities for faculty and student exchange programs. The campus spread over 650 acres comprises of a well-equipped library with 114,694 books, athletic ground, sports complex, gym, energy center and the open air auditorium. The institute has won several national level competitions and boasts of several professional clubs, cultural clubs and sports clubs.
