With consumers demanding infotainment on-the-go, Sony Ericsson is gearing up to build new texting experiences for smartphones users. The company recently announced its ‘FingerTALK’ campaign; the communication entertainment brand is expanding its Xperia range in the Indian market. Packed with social media integration, smarter features, and access to over 250,000 apps on the Android market, the new portfolio includes the Xperia neo V and Xperia pro. This new range comes with special offers for Airtel mobile customers as well.

While both devices have their own unique features, Sony Ericsson has incorporated certain elements across this portfolio. So whether it is the camera capabilities enabled by the Mobile Bravia engine, the xLOUD for enhanced sound output, Noise Shield for noise cancellation, the 3D Panorama Sweep that captures breathtaking panoramic images, or the Exmor R for the quality photography even in low-light, will be available throughout the portfolio.

As part of the go-to-market strategy for this launch, Sony Ericsson has collaborated with Bharti Airtel, to offer customers with 500 MB/month of free 3G/2G data usage for the first three months since the time of purchase of any of these Xperia phones. “We are delighted to partner with Airtel, India’s number one mobile operator. This has further strengthened our consumer value proposition for the new Xperia™ mobiles. While Sony Ericsson will bring a powerful 3G experience with Airtel through this integrated offer, Airtel is empowering the new devices to deliver hi-speed communication entertainment options to users, on-the-go. With a price starting at Rs.9000, our multi-tasking smartphones are the most affordable & feature-rich Android smartphones at 1 GHz,” says P. Balaji, Managing Director, Sony Ericsson India. In addition to this, Airtel mobile customers buying these new devices will also be able to enjoy free Mobile TV experience for 200 minutes or 2 months, whichever earlier.
