National Instruments, a developer of automated test equipments and virtual instrumentation software, has launched LabVIEW 2010, a graphical programming environment used to develop measurement, test, and control systems. According to the company, LabVIEW 2010 with its new features, like off-the-shelf compiler technologies that execute code an average of 20 percent faster, will reduce time. LabVIEW 2010 provides a new hardware configuration tool with which users can access and configure their LabVIEW Real-Time remotely via a Web browser. With the new LabVIEW, engineers and scientists can trace the implementation of test system requirements to virtual instrument (VI) programs and monitor low-level details about the execution of critical VIs for quick application monitoring and debugging.

According to Jayaram Pillai, Managing Director - India, Russia and Arabia, National Instruments “We aim to empower Indian engineers through user-defined, software-based approach for developing test, control, and embedded applications and the India LabVIEW Conference facilitate the exchange of information and ideas about innovative advances in technology and our products,”. Presently National Instrument supports over 130 SMEs in the country. “With the flexible pricing for the Indian customers, the company aims to cater the growing SMEs in India.” says Pillai.
