Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) has appointed Kuldeep Tikoo as the new Managing Director of its Indian operations. In this capacity, he will focus on strengthening the RFS brand in the sub-continent, as well as overseeing the operations of new, hi-tech manufacturing sites.

Tikoo brings to RFS nearly 20 years experience in sales and marketing within the Indian electronics industry. He has worked extensively in communications (both wireless and wireline), radio frequency, and microwave for a range of companies including the semi-conductor manufacturers CDIL and Tyco Electronics where his last position was Country Manager.

Talking about his new role, Tikoo explains, “The Indian market is one of the fastest growing wireless telecom markets even in the current down-turn affected market conditions. RFS is looking to leverage on this astronomical growth and make large investments in the industrial front and establishing its brand, products, and support teams in the country. The company has already developed a state of the art manufacturing unit for microwave antennas in Kolkatta.”

The company is currently developing a range of high performance solutions including base station and microwave antennas, and Tikoo is looking forward to the challenge of driving the company forward in the sub-continent. The company is also setting up new feeder cable industrial solutions, which will start operations shortly. Currently he heads a team
that is highly experienced and highly motivated to succeed in India. He focuses on three key factors while leading his team, namely ‘situation, behavior, and impact’.
An engineer well experienced in the telecom industry, Tikoo is based in Delhi and loves to spend time with his wife Sunita and his two young daughters Anmol and Muskan.
