The biggest challenge he faces here is to make pictures with content that people remember and get inspiration from. Currently he is in the process of building his team by putting the core people in place. He considers the opportunity to head the distribution of the movie 'There is something about Mary' in India while at 20th Century Fox, the turning point in his career. He attributes his strengths to his ability to bounce back, the ability to see the larger picture, and positive thinking. He advises the young professionals to observe how their work affects others and then steer it in the positive direction.
In leisure, he loves to play sports and reads books. What also interests him is the study of what lies in the subconscious mind of people to see what drives them. Not a person to regret his decisions, Anand does feel that he would have been happier if he had some more time to pursue higher studies.
