California-based Zenprise, a secure mobile device management firm, has raised $30 million in a funding round led by leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm Greylock Partners, with participation from the existing investors too. The company will use the fund for rapid growth and to accelerate its product development, sales and marketing efforts in order to meet the growing demand for its solutions will use the fund.

Founded by Waheed Qureshi and headed by Jayaram Bhat, the company also protects all layers of the mobile enterprise, keeping organizations secure and complaint. Zenprise MobileManager and Zencloud helps the IT firms to choose from mobile device while safeguarding sensitive corporate data, shielding the network from mobile threats and maintaining compliance with regulatory and corporate policies. The firm has an extensive list of global customers and partners spans across sections of countries and vertical industries including aerospace and defense, financial services, healthcare, oil and gas, legal, telecommunications, retail, entertainment and federal, state and local governments.
