Since then Outsourced product development (OPD) has been hot concept in the IT sector. Tekriti, a software development company based in Gurgaon, India having strength of over 100 employees is such a company in the niche space of Web 2.0 and Hi-tech Web Software.

“We build custom software applications for technology start-ups, enterprises and emerging companies. The time the co-founders, Ashish Kumar, Gaurav Bhatnagar, Manish Dhingra ventured into India, they decided to found a OPD company in the web 2.0 space as they had the strong background in handling product development and in providing services. This mix complemented their abilities and provided an edge to develop a componentized networking platform on the web by composing all the needs of social networking, content management and online video. Since then it has been a fulfilling journey for Tekriti with high profile clients in their kitty, which includes, NDTV, HT, Times Internet Limited, PVR cinemas and more. Though some of the existing clients have downsized their operations, Tekriti hasn’t been impacted to that extent by the current economic turmoil as they are also tweaked their working model accordingly. Today Tekriti is leveraging it’s knowledge artifacts and cumulative intellectual capital to the fullest to achieve speed and accuracy of delivery.

Tekriti’s focus areas are Web 2.0, Social Software (facebook apps, social networking, social bookmaking etc, Music and video, ecommerce and CMS. The company specializes in use of open source technologies and has deep expertise in LAMP development as well as Web 2.0 skills like AJAX, Flex and AIR. The also have a strong focus on user interface design patterns for Web 2.0 and Rich Internet Application, owing to the rich experience working on niche platforms and products. Informs Dhingra, “We have enough expertise in Microsoft and Java Technologies as well. We understand business realities and have the technical know-how and solutions required to bridge the gap between our clients and their business goals. However, there has been extension of growth strategies in the wake of ongoing economic recession. Tekriti has adopted more aggressive strategy in sales by reorganizing methodologies used before. “In fact it’s true with operations, recruitment, and delivery strategy as well by reducing the time to market so that revenue generation could be faster. However, we stick to our vision of empowering our client with development of the world’s most creative concepts in software and information technology. We don’t compromise on customer satisfaction. Our team brings with it, abilities to innovate for a value driven approach for all its clients, partners and stakeholders. And we are confident that we’ll be able to register over 40 percent growth,” concludes Dhingra.
