Seagate has come up with the world’s first 3 terabyte (TB) external desktop drive. The 3 TB “FreeAgent GoFlex Desk” can store up to 120 HD movies, 1,500 video games, thousands of photos, and countless hours of digital music.

The drive is 3.5 inch in size and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. It comes with a built-in encryption that ensures the safety of the contents. The external drive is compatible with both Windows and Mac computers. It can meet different transfer speeds, thanks to its flexibility to adapt to USB 3.0 or FireWire 800 connection. The 3 TB GoFlex is available at a price of Rs. 18,500.
