Sandip Foundation is turning out to become one of the most sought after group of educational institutes in the country. This story delves into the successful practices and features that make Sandip Foundation a name to vouch for.

Despite the rise in the cost of higher education in the country most Indian institutions are cornered for churning out unemployable graduates that continue to add to the tally of names in the list of unemployed in the country according to the National Employability Report. Sandip Foundation (SF) has taken up the challenge to ensure that its students graduate to become industry ready graduates that can take on the industry to excel in their future careers. SF established in 2005 had faced many challenges to attract the pool of educated, experienced and qualified faculties to campus. However, Sandip Foundation in an optimistic approach offers endless support on the rise, flourishing, survival and success of its students that makes it an exception to the previously mentioned National Employability Report. "Bearing in mind the numerous clogs in the Indian education industry, the state of the economy and the lack of skilled labor, Sandip Foundation achieves 100 percent placement in MBA and over 60 percent in Engineering despite only having a span of time passed by as short as eight mere years since its inception," says Dr. Sandip N. Jha, Chairman, Sandip Foundation.

"It has become a common practice that students from various disciplines are placed even before the completion of their courses," added Dr. S.T. Gandhe, Principal, Sandip Institute of Technology and Research Center. The institute has witnessed its students being recruit and selected by some of the premier companies in India and receives lucrative packages as high as six lakhs, while many of its students are following the successful and productive entrepreneurial path. Withstanding every obstacle in its way, the Group leaves no stone unturned in meeting the industry demands on campus." With the support of an active placement cell to offer more job opportunities and recruitment drives for the students, companies such as Reliance, HDFC, and TCS in pursuit of the diverse talent pool visit the institutes every year. "Being a frontrunner in producing industry ready graduates, we actively indulge in providing industry exposure and outlook to our students. Additionally, we are focusing on creating more entrepreneurs, which in turn contributes to Government's 'Make in India Programme' reveals Dr. Jha. A separate Incubation Center and Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been established. Sandip Foundation's Sandip Institute of Technology and Research Center, Nashik has received a grant of Rs. 62 lakhs from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune for the development of Entrepreneurship and research projects.

Sandip Foundation firmly believes in imparting practical education to the students. Along with conceptual teaching, the Institutes invite faculties from industries for imparting practical aspects and implication of subject through industrial visits & industrial connect sessions. SF has tied up with more than 45 companies for the development of the students, conduction of research and consultancy activities. The group invites HRs from companies like ABB, Bosch, Mahindra & Mahindra and many reputed Indian and Abroad MNCs around Nashik to state the importance of placements, provide guidelines on how to face interviews and corporate etiquette to the students. The management claims to have developed novel concepts for MBA students in case-study development and on basis of which it has published a book on case studies.

Besides, SF also ensures that there is a 360 degree development of students where we emphasized on personality development & skill enhancement. The group has hired corporate trainers of international repute who groom students on their personality, their communication skills and writing skills. "We have tie ups with the foreign university and numerous faculty and students exchange programs are conducted on a regular basis where they visit educational campuses and collaboratively work on live projects. We have tie ups & MoUs with the renowned Industries so that our students get a chance to work in the industry & gain practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge," says Dr. Jha. Beyond the curriculum, modules on Stock markets, SAP, Advance Excel, Industry Analysis and Business research the institute offers unparalleled skill based training to the students which include SAP business models, Java, Android programming and German language program to the students with on-the-job training. Adding to these value added programs, Department of Management studies has published its own Journal named "International Journal of Commerce and Economics" in two volumes every year to encourage faculties and students in research.
