Unisys India appoints Mukul Agrawal as Country Manager
The over 1500 strong Unisys India, an information technology services and solutions company will invest $180 million in India over the next five years. The company has welcomed to its fold Mukul Agrawal as the Country Manager as part of its strategy to drive growth in the Indian market. Unisys has Air India, SBI and ICICI amongst its clients.

Agrawal joined Unisys Global Services India in April 2004 as the Managing Director. Prior to that he held a number of key management positions at Zensar Technologies, Citibank, Deutsche Bank and Tata Unisys. “My perseverance was liked by my bosses,” says Agrawal.


Shekhar Dasgupta joins Solix as President and COO
Sai Gundavelli founded CMM Level 5 company Solix Technologies, an information lifecycle management solutions provider, has received a shot in the arm. Shekhar Dasgupta former Managing Director at Oracle India has joined as President and COO.

The Sunnyvale, California based Solix founded in 1995, has amongst its customers BPL, LG and Reader’s Digest. A twenty-year IT veteran, Dasgupta will mainly concentrate on promoting Solix’s flagship product–‘Solix ARCHIVEjinni’. Under his leadership, Oracle India grew from 10th to 5th position in the Asia Pacific Division. “Being bold has helped me reach where I am, even though many decisions taken by me were thought to be outrageous by people initially,” says Dasgupta.
