A senior executive, Rajeev Singh-Molares has been recently tapped as the President of the Asia-Pacific region at Alcatel-Lucent. He will be responsible for the growth of the organization leveraging his strategic transformation expertise in working with customers helping them evolve their businesses.

Molares will continue to be a member of the company’s management committee. He is currently the Chief Strategy Officer of the company, identifying new areas of consumer interest and new markets for industry expansion. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Molares was a Senior Partner and Firm Director of the Monitor Group. During his 18 years there, he helped business leaders address strategic issues, including competitiveness, organizational structure, marketing, and industry evolution. He worked with over 100 companies from startups to established organizations. Specific to this new role, Molares worked extensively with Asia-based clients and has a deep understanding of the region and growth challenges within which they operate.

Molares holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a master’s degree in International Affairs from Yale University. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Council on the future of mobile communications.
