The Professional Aptitude Council, an organization that provides services to companies across the globe to advance workforce excellence and education, has launched GILD, a career advancement platform for technologists.

GILD provides professionals with free access to the entire library of PAC certifications and credentials to advance their professional brand and career. From specific feedback on job application status and prospectus to tools to helping them differentiate themselves in the sea of resumes, GILD will fundamentally change how people manage their careers.

Covering 26 countries across the globe, GILD provides its service to technology leaders like Oracle, IBM, Convergys, Virtusa, Mindtree, and Salesforce.com.

Speaking at the launch, Sheeroy Desai, CEO of PAC, mentioned that according to a recent survey only 6.5 percent of the total job seekers get their expected jobs through various job portals, the rest get the access through the companies themselves.

GILD conducts weekly competitions related to technology and general knowledge, where people can compete with others who have an equal standing with them and the winners get prizes and even job offers.
