Ness Technologies to increase headcount to 5000

Ness Technologies, which now has a workforce of about 3,000 will increase its headcount in India to 5,000 employees. "The new additions will be done as and when we will get new projects and work streams; new employees will be added to our strength," says Satyajit Bandyopadhyay, President and Managing Director, Ness India.

Ness Technologies has its operations across different verticals like IT solutions and services, healthcare and life sciences, defence, retail, manufacturing, and telecom. The operations in India primarily serve the U.S, Europe, and Israel businesses of the company. Through these additions, the company looks to expand its business in India.
Sachi Gerlitz, President and CEO, Ness Technologies, also inaugurated the company's new SEZ facility "NesS-E-Zone" recently in Bangalore. A part of the 60,000 square feet facility is already operational and it has facilities like ATM, bookstore, and food court.
