Mydala.com raises $3.7 million in Series B funding

New Delhi based group buying site mydala.com has raised $3.7 million from InfoEdge India in Series B funding, the funding is comes in the form of optionally convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares in Kinobeo Software. The company enables individuals to buy in groups and get attractive deals. The company was co-founded by Anisha Singh, Ashish Bhatnagar, and Arjun Basu, in 2009.

Earlier, mydala.com raised 1.1 Crore in angel funding from Ajay Relan and Jayanta Basu, the founding partners of Delhi-based PE firm CX partners, in their personal capacity. The company flaunts three million subscribers and also introduced the online merchant shop, called the "mydala mall."

The company has about 50 employees working for them in their Delhi office and considers them to be its most valuable assets.
