Intex Steps into the Netbook Segment

Intex has entered the booming netbook market with the launch of its N101-WC1100 netbook. Featuring a 10.1 inch display, the netbook is equipped with an Intel Atom N270 processor, 160 GB SATA internal hard drive, a 1.3 mega pixel video camera, 1GBDDR2 memory expandable up to 2GB, and weighs about 1.2kg.

The netbook also features WLAN 802.11 b/g Wireless LAN Module, Bluetooth, 7-in-1 mini card reader, and a 10.1 inch WSVGA LED backlight display with an enhanced battery life of 240 minutes. The model comes in two variants – black and red, costing Rs. 18,900 and Rs. 19,400 respectively.
