Ineda Systems Raises $19 Million in Series B Funding

Low-power SoCs (system on a chip) developer, Ineda Systems, has raised an additional Series B funding of $19 million from Cisco Investments, the VC arm of technology firm Cisco Inc. The financing round was also led by its existing investors Samsung Catalyst Fund, Qualcomm Ventures and Imagination Technologies. The new funding will be used by the company to further develop its Dhanush family of Wearable Processor Units (WPU TM).

Ineda Systems was founded by industry veterans in 2010 with an ultimate goal of developing new generation processor SoCs for use in both consumer and enterprise applications. Crafted with an aim to enable the wearable ecosystem with APIs and the application development frameworks, Ineda's products are engineered to address wearable technology platforms from the ground up including vertical engineering of the wearable devices in the fast-growing wearables and Internet of Things (IoT) market segment. Powered by high-efficient team has world-class experience of working in diversified genre of companies, Ineda has established a strong foothold with its unique silicon and systems design in the in the domain of SoC/IP development, architecture and software.
