Indian-American Politicians creating a buzz in U.S. Politics

A number of Indian Americans have been conquering political heights in America. Their Influential personality combined with their drive to work hard has helped them rise in the field of politics. Sam Singh, the first Indian American state representative of a House Democratic Floor , has recently being appointed as the Minority Floor Leader for the 2015-2016 legislative sessions. Singh has recently introduced a legislation that prevents landlords and Realtors from discrimination against individuals based on their status as a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
Another Indo-American politician, Kumar P. Barve, is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates was elected to a state legislature in the U.S. in 1990. Barve has recently announced his plans on running for the US House seat in 2016, earlier this week. "I am ready to take my experience working for economic growth and fighting for our middle class to the federal level," said Barve.
An attorney turned politician Kamala Harris is now considered as one of the most important pillar the Democratic Party. Kamala has recently being on news for asking the court to permit her to block the "Sodomite Suppression Act" that authorizes the killing of gays and lesbians.
Piyush Bobby Jindal also mostly known as Bobby Jindal is an American politician who is the 55th and current Governor of Louisiana and the Vice Chairman of the Republican Governors Association. Jindal recently created a buzz by blasting Obama administration's new rule that makes it harder for governors skeptical of man-made climate change to obtain federal money to prepare for emergencies such as floods and hurricanes.
