India to get Cisco’s Linksys E-Series Routers

Cisco launched their latest Linksys E-Series wireless routers in India. The E-series come in three different models—E1000, E2000 and E3000, and can be connected to a verity of devices including laptops, wireless printers, HDTVs and gaming consoles. They have WPA, WPA2 and other enhanced security features and provide up to 300 Mbps wireless speed. E1000 comes with 2.4 GHz Band for wireless access where as E2000 and E3000 comes with selectable 2.4 and 5 GHz bands which help to avoid interference from other wireless networks. Linksys E3000 is optimized for streaming HD video and for wireless gaming and can be used to connect and share USB storage throughout the premises and over the Internet it includes an inbuilt UPnP AV media server.
