As technology explores new ways and creates novel devices to make life advanced, it demands high quality and reliability to ensure the intended results.Though India is an emerging communication technology hub in the world, it lacks a good quality Geographic Information System (GIS).

Marc Naddel, Vice President of electronic map provider Navteq, says that Players in this segment have a vast opportunity to build up an LBS ecosystem in India.

"It's an opportunity for talented developers and platform providers based in India to come up with innovative offerings," Naddel added.
