In his new role at MindTree he will hold business responsibility for Indian enterprises and defense and government sectors across both IT services and R&D services businesses. He would also help in building the company’s System Integration (SI) capability.
Talking about his appointment Gopalakrishnan says, “At a time when the Indian market is at its dynamic best, I see a great opportunity for growth, both in the IT services and R&D services segments. We will leverage our domain experience in different verticals such as manufacturing, banking, financial services, insurance, and travel and transportation to bring innovative solutions to our clients.”
Gopalakrishnan holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore, and a BTech (Mechanical) from Osmania University.
