Epson Puts Faith on SMEs to Launch New Printers and Scanners

Epson, a provider of digital imaging solutions, launched its latest package of affordable printers and scanners for Indian SMEs. Unveiling 'Epson Stylus Office', a package of Epson's new offerings, Epson is betting big on Indian printer and scanner market amidst the economic downturn. The company is looking to install its new range of solutions in over 500 SMEs in three months and 2,000 SMEs by the end of 2009.

The new offering includes printers such as Epson Stylus Office T30, T40W, TX300F, and TX600FW, which are designed to address the needs of SMEs and Epson's new two sheet fed scanners, Epson GT-S80 and GT-S50, are built to meet the demand in the high speed document scanner market. Moreover, a wireless network connectivity feature has been incorporated in selected models of the Epson Stylus Office. The products are available at prices ranging from Rs. 5,299 to Rs. 47,999.

"We are announcing the launch at the right time as we believe that our new products will definitely help small businesses to cut their costs," says S M Ramprasad, Senior Business Manager, CPG, Epson.
