Sarbpreet Singh has had stints at some of the premier organizations such as GE, Bell Labs, and Lucent in his twenty plus years of career in the IT industry and has recently joined eInfochips as the President and Head - Global Sales. A BE (Hons.) from BITS Pilani, Singh completed his MS in the U.S. and started his career as a hardcore ‘techie’. But a decade ago, he made a transition from the technical side to take up managerial roles. He also considers this the turning point in his career. After spending a major part of his career in the U.S. it was ‘India Calling’ for Singh, and he worked with Indian companies like Future Soft, Global Edge, and has now joined eInfochips.

“Enhancing the company’s Global footprint and leveraging its core competencies to address adjacent market segments are key imperatives that will be my focus in helping eInfochips meet the needs of its strategic customers,” says Singh about his new role. As a person easy to interact with, Singh enjoys being surrounded by people and mentoring them. He believes in setting high standards for himself and the people around him. Being up front, transparent, and being able to motivate and lead a team are his strengths.

A great lover of Gurmat Sangeet, he has also started a Gurmat Sangeet Project dedicated to preserve and spread awareness about it. He also teaches it to a group of kids at Boston. Apart from this, he is also passionate about Hindustani classical music. His mantra for life is “Take it by a day at a time and live it like a good human being.”
