The children of today are the future of tomorrow and India has 440 million future talents under its gigantic population of 1.252 billion. The child population in the country is higher than the entire population of North America (U.S., Mexico and Canada) put together, which makes every fifth child in the world an Indian. In this great face of 1.2 billion, the parents of these children strive to give their young ones an identity of their own. Many parents have aspirations of transforming their young ones into engineers, doctors, government officials and many more. All of these career diversities meet the very first step of childcare and preschool education.
The significance of children's brain development is the most crucial time that demands right care and fostering of needs. Studies show that 70 percent of a child's brain development takes place between the ages of two to five years. Hence, it is critical that the caretaker of the child focuses on the all-round development. In a country like India, and due to the state of its rising economy, many families have taken to the wave of double earning by the mother and the father. The economic structure of society has significantly influenced how families care for their children. This scenario has overtime resulted in an empty space for taking care of the child. For a variety of personal and economic reasons, including single parenthood, many mothers with young children today work outside the home and can no longer fill the traditional responsibilities of home and childcare.
Fostering to the absence of a caretaker, a number of Daycare Centers have flourished over the years in provision to provide the right care to a child. Overtime societal response to these changes in family structure and roles has varied. High quality childcare can help children to flourish, whatever their family circumstances. It can help parents to flourish, too, knowing that their children are being well cared for while they go out to work. Since children's early experiences and relationships with caregivers have a significant influence on their future development and achievements, the quality of their care is an important concern for all. Every child, with the right care on provision of a conducive and an enabling environment, may blossom into an ever-fragrant flower, to shine in all spheres of life; and help in taking forward the future of the country.
