"Moore's law" states that the number of transistors in a dense integrated circuit will be doubled in approximately every two years. Similarly, technology trends in the industry are changing ever half decade or so, and there is little or no education provided to graduates in the upcoming technological changes. Nex-G Exuberant Solution, which trains professionals and fresh graduates to excel in the yet-to-be launched technologies, especially in the fast changing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. As the name suggest, Nex-G is truly a next generation technology training provider. When the institute established in 2002 offering training in 3G technology, when even the usage of smartphones was an alien concept for the men and women living in the provincial parts of the country. It took another six years for India to introduce 3G enabled mobile and data services. However, by that time, Nex-G had already started training its students in 4G technologies.

S.S. Bhowmick, CEO and Founder, Nex-G Exuberant Solutions says, "Our focus is on training in the technologies, which would rule the market in future. Hence, when other players in the market provide general training on these technologies, we were able to do training on the advanced topics." Started off with five employees and one course, the institute provides more than 300 training options today with 35 on board trainers, who are also active research participants for the institute. "In India, people who are working in the industry do not want to see themselves as trainers because they think that training is something that will keep them stagnant on their knowledge. Here, we want to change that mindset and hence, we give lot of R&D work to them so that can update themselves with the latest knowledge," explains Bowmick, an active researcher in the field of telecommunication who has more than 17 years of industry experience.

Research and Development has been the part of the institute since its inception. This has not only helped them attract more experts from the industry as trainers but also to provide the upcoming technologies in the market. Bowmick, who is now researching on the 5G technologies, says, "We run our institute like a corporate company with proper hierarchy and dedicated R&D Team consists of experts from various fields who have industry experience of 10 to 15 years. The generated research materials are also used as learning objects for our trainees." Today, Nex-G that attracts 100 students in a month on an average from all over the globe has also expanded their trainings to corporate companies including government agencies worlds wide. CSIR South Africa, NTC Sudan and Nigeria Communication Commission are few such foreign departments to name.

With the government's favorable regulation policies and faster data services hitting the market, rapid growth is expected in the Indian telecommunication sector in the next few years. While, companies like Microsoft has already predicted the emergence of India as a leading player in the virtual world by having 700 million internet users of the 4.7 billion global users by 2025, the trainings provided by Nex-G will definitely catalyze the number of professionals needed to work in this sector.
