Established in 1973, Management Development Institute (MDI) is a premier institute functioning under the leadership of acting director, C.P Shrimali. The institute is the first Indian B-School to have been accredited with Association of MBAs (AMBA), UK and is also a member of South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS) proffering PGDM in Human Resources, International Business and other conventional managerial streams. The uniqueness of the MDI pedagogy comes in with ‘The Business Thought Leadership Series’, ‘Synapse Series’ and live projects. Marketing research fair, ‘Illumina’ is one of the biggest of its kind, offering organizations with the opportunity to conduct extensive market research through thousands of visitors. Names like Pepsico, HUL have been active participants at Illumina. While proffering practical education, MDI is also a startup support system and has incubated nine startups so far and boasts of illustrious alumni like Vikas Bajaj, Joint MD, Bajaj Motors, and Rahul Choudhary, VP, Axis Bank.
