Having worked with top MNCs, Government organisations, and public sector enterprises by formulating unique training modules catering to industrial requirements, MICA is now all set to go that extra mile by inducting new programmes of Social Development Programme (SDP) and Government Development Programme (GDP) that will seek to impart training to officials from social and government sector. These courses will be offered apart from its regular Management Development Programme (MDP).

Under the Social Development Program, the training sessions provided will be under the guidance of the institute in association with Information and Broadcasting Bureau (I&B) and GDP will have organised sessions by joining hands with Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA). Explaining the foundation beneath this agenda, Preeti Shroff, MICA Dean, says, “We wanted to lift the executive education to the next level. We were offering MDPs but now we will have SDPs and GDPs. The training session will commence soon. While for I&B Bureau, the training will be on ‘Media Industry & Content Management: Communication Strategy for I&B, the module for SEWA will be to train their trainers”.

MICA will be assisting SEWA overcoming the challenge of establishing the identity of community leaders as change maker and as well as entrepreneurs in diverse sectors for various products. The educational institution will impart explanations regarding the blend between a change maker and an entrepreneur while imbibing communication knowledge deploying various social media platforms.
