The Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) was established in 1995 by Prof. Arya Kumar. This Delhi based institute proffers quality education in PGDM General, PGDM Finance, PGDM Executive, PGDM Part Time, and MCA with three-year and two-year courses and has been accredited by AICTE and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The course fee accounts to around Rs.5,15,000. The courses are taught by a faculty team comprising of 50 full time professors who have six published books and 60 published articles to their credit in the year 2014-2015.

The institute also proffers NSE certified capital market professional course (in collaboration with NSE), entrepreneurial and incubation centre, Lal Bahadur Shastri risk management centre and rural immersion, social club and village adoption programme. The institute plays host to various top notch companies like Asian Paints, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ernst & Young, Balmer & Lawrie, Canon India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Wipro Technologies, Beroe Solutions, Oracle, Pearson Education and several others, offering 245 jobs with an average package of Rs.7,90, 000 and highest package of Rs.15,00,000 in the last academic year.

The LBSIM library is one the most equipped facilities enriched with 30,000 select documents and electrical resources. The sprawling campus also comprises of a well-equipped auditorium, recreational facilities, video conferencing centre and a healthcare centre. The institute also proffers to its deserving but financially challenged students with scholarships, namely, Smt. Lalita Shastri Scholarship, Amit Chopra Scholarship, Manju Chopra Scholarship and Tessy Thomas Scholarship.
