With offers in the range of Rs.6.5 lakh per year, Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE), KLU's engineering college, attracted 84 plus recruiters including Deloitte, FMC, GE, Motorola, and TCS for Placement 2015, placing all of the 1600 eligible students across 7 disciplines. Campus Placement Training (CPT), a special training program that is designed and delivered by both external and internal experts annually, has added great value to students on every graduating batch by turning them exceptionally job ready. Being consistently ranked "among the top 10 T-schools nationally" by well reputed media surveys, besides a rich haul of prestigious awards and international recognition the college has earned in the last five years, KLCE is today among India's best private engineering institutions.

Established in 1980, facing the beautiful Buckingham Canal, in the lush environs of Vaddeswaram village of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh (AP), KLCE is today the flagship college of KL University, with the mission is to impart high quality education with emphasis on research, innovation, extension, entrepreneurship, and human values. In order to enrich academics and facilitate faculty exchange, twinning programs, student internships, and knowledge sharing, KLCE has MoUs in place with 28 leading universities in 10 countries around the globe. KLCE's USP: Strong Industry Linkages and Placement Record

The College has created strong linkages with a broad cross section of the industry in order to understand its talent needs, build industry relevant curriculums, and turn out market ready talent, besides to facilitate guest lectures, industry experts' induction on the Board of Studies (BOS), development of state-of-the-art academic and research infrastructure, and projects for students. KLCE has MoUs with 21 industry partners across India including Microsoft, Adobe, CISCO, IBM, HP, TCS, and Honeywell. In addition, KLCE has tie-ups with 150 top employers from multiple sectors in India to place students in the best internships and final placement.

In order to address employers' talent requirements, the College's curricula feature a range of special courses that cover verbal and nonverbal communication, comprehension, group discussions, seminars, and programming languages. As part of the Campus Placement Training program, senior faculty of the University and senior HR executives from industry conduct mock technical and HR interviews and provide valuable feedback and guidance to students so that they get fully ready to ace rigorous, multi-stage interviews by high paying multinationals. All of these leading edge initiatives have greatly contributed to KLCE carving a national record among all private engineering colleges for 100 percent placement for 10 years in a row since 2005.
