International Management Institute: Towards a Bright Future

The aim to proffer quality managerial education for the upcoming student generation was the foundation for establishing International Management Institute (IMI), India’s first corporate sponsored business school, under the leadership of Chairman Sanjiv Goenka. Founded in 1981, this New Delhi based Institute is affiliated with various visiting faculties and industry experts and has been accredited with Association of MBAs (AMBA), London, National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and Government of India, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute proudly boosts of 4700 alumni spread across the globe handling critical positions in global firms.

The institute specializes in quality education in PGDM in HR and Finance and also holds expertise in Management Development Programmes & In-Company Programmes, imparting training to employees from HAL, NNEPCO, HPCL, ONGC and several others with respect to current trend and practices in the financial industry. The faculty and students of IMI have also provided with sound consultancy to several government and private organizations. This B-School aims to collaborate with notable personalities in the industry that would enable an interaction among the business pioneers and students relevant to the current scenario. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank, is one such personality to have visited the IMI Campus.

The academic complex consists of lecture halls, the Tata Chemicals Computer Centre and Williamson Magor Library comprising of 22,000 volumes on business and management books. IMI is a member of Global Development Network that shapes up a new perspective for solutions towards the prevailing development challenges. The institute has established international collaborations and student exchange programs with Manchester Business School, Albany State University, Georgia, U.S., ESSEC Business School, France and many more.
