The ubiquity of electronic devices and its amalgamation into our everyday lives has led to progression of the digital world. According to IDC, the number of PCs will fall from 28.7 percent of the device market in 2013 to 13 percent in 2017; Tablets will increase from 11.8 percent in 2013 to 16.5 percent by 2017, and smart phones will increase from 59.5 percent to 70.5 percent. This forecast will actualize based on many factors among which the usage of these devices is prominent. Usage of electronic device lessens the consumption of paper work, offering many features accommodating almost every day-to-day human need.

Massification is a concept of bringing a kind under one umbrella to promote an idea or initiative. Electronic education technology or e-learning is an array of constant digitization of computer based learning material. The availability of e-book, video tutorials and podcast has brought a new method of learning which is hassle free, easy to access and self learning has boomed as a result.

Digital Reading has grown into a core part of any e-learning site and m-learning is the newest improvisations made. The use of tablets and smart phones is growing rapidly and so are the contents worn by these gadgets. Mobile Apps provide the easy solutions to such kind of accessibility. Breaking the shackles of class room learning, m-learning is able to break the predetermined perception of boredom attached to the process of conventional learning. M-Learning provides e-book, magazines, study materials on courses and various competitive exams. Thus, use of smart phones and tablets has matured from playing games to a disciplined form of self learning. Approaching this whole idea of learning in a broader way, one must see this form as a trouble-free creation of educating minds and skill development and the advantages needs to be noted. Among them, the most important factor is electricity and internet penetration. Smart phones and tablets consume 3-10W at a time but a laptop consumes more than 25 W. As a result, these devices will be preferred most than other electronic devices. Likewise, the internet penetration in India is more on the cellular sector than the broadband. Data connectivity can be availed in smart phones in a much faster and cheaper rate than the ones used in laptop.

The cost component is very important for any business and it comes with the least making it a profitable form of business and massifying the brand identity of the company. M-learning gives access to a big library which can be availed, stored or read in offline mode as well. With convenience and flexibility as the forte of M-learning, it allows students and readers to personalize their way of absorbing information utilizing even the 'dead time'. Shy students can interact more easily and specially challenged ones would also be benefited equally. As per research, Interactive, collaborative and wider access of information being the core qualities would make mobile device world's primary connection tool till 2020.
