Established in 1998, GLA University, Mathura, has grown rapidly in its 18 years of existence, establishing itself as a full-fledged university with all the required approvals. The university has always been a high ranking institute in the state and at national level. With a vision to be a pace-setting university of academic excellence focused on education, research and development in established and emerging professions, the university strives to offer the best in infrastructure, faculty and pedagogy.

The establishment offers the best in terms of research labs and equipment where students can work on both university and industry sponsored research projects. The institute also encourages entrepreneurship and is so far endeavoring to support Flipper app creator Shikhar Srivastava and other entrepreneurs. However that does not diminish the placement prospects for students interested in this university.
