Digital Education is certainly ushering the new age of learning in India. India is at a nascent stage when it comes to digital education compared to developed nations, none the less it's growing at a substantially rapid rate of 55 percent. Technology is now an enabler across industries, in fact the foray of technology in education has emanated at the right time. Indian learners are in the growth curve where they want to evolve and want to enhance their knowledge and skills at every stage of their career and lives. Digital education is a force to reckon with when it comes to learning with a purpose, the learners have the flexibility to learn from anywhere at any time from world class institutes at a reasonable cost. Moving forward with the Digital India Agenda of Modi Government the technology will not be just a prevalent feature, but the most critical aspect of education for learners; it will acquire a greater dimension for the learners.

The course content of digital learning providers is more comprehensive and new age when it comes to learning. However, digital learning providers partner with traditional institutes to produce high quality content backed by world class learning pedagogy. Use of new age techniques such as gamification, assessments to match the knowledge curve of the learner is what makes digital learning highly collaborative. I would say the course content of traditional institutions compared to online course providers is more new age and the ability to learn it anywhere at any time gives it the edge. Hence, the journey of digital learning providers is empowered by traditional institutions.

India's digital infrastructure is developing rapidly. The ever snowballing digital penetration in India backed by mobile revolution is opening new opportunities in every sphere and education is no exception. Building a digital ecosystem backed by a scalable, low-cost, reusable digital infrastructure and popularizing it to the masses is going to play a vital role when it comes to providing digital education to the needy. This has to be empowered with robust avenues where the learners are conditioned to pursue this medium of learning.

Digital technologies will play an instrumental role in how India learners. The advent of Digital education revolution started 3 years back, but the evolution has been gigantic. This reflects in the sudden spurt of players entering the Online Education market from time to time. However, this sector is still at a nascent stage and fragmented in India. There are players, but there is still no clear leader in the category who can offer a complete suite of solutions to the learning needs of the takers in a path breaking way. Hence, the growth will come for those who will break through the clutter and offer something truly unique to their learners. To popularise the culture of Digital classrooms in India, the first step should be to proactively create awareness regarding the digital learning culture across the nation. Second, to generate multiple avenues for learners to adapt to the technology and its usage and last building a digital ecosystem that is scalable, low-cost and reusable.

Undeniably yes, digital education will play an instrumental role in reducing the current skill gap of prospective employees. We have catered to over 300000 learners since 2012 and interestingly career enhancing courses seem to be the top-choices of the takers. Given the current market scenario and economy, the learners are aiming to better their careers and skills without taking a break. Hence, online learning or Digital Education is the way to go for most of the learners.
