Xiaomi's New Teaser-All Set to Launch Mi Note 2

BENGALURU: Having released a series of devices like the Mi 5, Redmi Note 3 and Mi Max, Xiaomi is propelling to get a high-end specs handset with promising flagship style performance at a much more competitive price. Two new Xiaomi devices are expected to be unleashed in the coming days, namely the Xiaomi Mi5S and Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
Mi Note 2 on Weibo—the Chinese social-media platform will be likely launched in 3 variants—a budget offering, high-end model, and top-end version. The new teaser 2>5 symbolizes that the Mi Note 2 is going to be much bigger than the Mi5, featuring a 5.7 inch display as its predecessor. As for the specifications of base model Xiaomi Mi Note 2, it is said to sport a phablet form factor and rumored to feature a Snapdragon 820 coupled with 4GB of RAM. In addition, the highest configured model is going to be packing a powerful Snapdragon 823 and 6GB of RAM.
One of the biggest highlights of the Mi Note 2 include Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual rear camera setup, a 3D touch featuring an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) chip and the ability to record 4K videos at 30FPS. The device is also expected to support Near-field communication (NFC), infrared, and Hi-Fi audio powered by 4000mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It has also been reported that the 32GB internal memory model will have a 16MP main camera, while the other two variants will house dual 12MP rear cameras.
Xiaomi’s standard edition is priced at roughly Rs 25,000; high-end model could carry a price tag of roughly
30,000; with the top-end model ready to snag at still affordable price of roughly
35,000.
