Xiaomi To Reveal Next Flagship Mi 5 On July 16

BANGALORE: Past week, Xiaomi posted a teaser on Weibo regarding the upcoming Smartphone from the firm. But the teaser didn’t give away much about the phone however, it is rumoured to be the next Xiaomi flagship Smartphone and will be unveiled on July 16 event, reports IBN.

The teaser says it will be slimmer than any phone produced by the company. The device is shown sideways with the alphabets ‘P’ and ‘K’ on either side. While the flagship Smartphone or Mi 5 is expected to sport Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM.

Earlier speculations of Mi 5 indicated that the phone will come with 5.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 X 2560 pixels. The rumours also include 16MP primary camera and 6MP secondary camera along with LED flash on both the sides. On the storage side, it was expected to come with 16GB or 64GB internal memory. The battery is expected somewhere around or more than 3,000mAh capacity.

On the other hand, there are some other reports that imply different specs sheet. That points at a slightly smaller 5.2-inch screen and a better package of camera at 20.2MP rear camera and 6MP front-facing camera. The upcoming Smartphone is expected to sport fingerprint scanner with Android Lollipop support.
