Wireless Pad The Next Game Changer To Charge Smartphones
BANGALORE: Every day we tend to search our data cables or our mobile phone chargers when our Smartphones run out of charge. You may lose your temper searching your charger, what if there was a technology without any requirement of wires, reports EconomicTimes.
The Smartphone design developers are hoping to make 2015 the year of wireless charger. As the Mobile World Congress ended this week, all the Smartphone manufacturers assured that soon the consumers can recharge their phone just by placing their handsets on a table or lamp stand and the phone can take in the electricity through a wireless surface.
Samsung offers the wireless charging capability in its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge which was unveiled on the first day of MWC 2015. On the other hand, Ikea declared that it will introduce an array of bedside tables, lamps and desks equipped with wireless charging spots in North America and Europe soon.
A senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Kevin Curran quoted, "This is probably the year of the wireless charger," prior to the MWC. He also added, "A lot of the top-end phones now by default are coming with a wireless charger. You just have to put the phone onto a mat or onto a stand."
