Transcend launches portable StoreJet 18M HDD in India

Bangalore: Transcend has launched StoreJet 18M portable hard drives in India. It is a new addition to its StoreJet portable hard drives. "We are confident that our customers will appreciate the enhanced portability of the new StoreJet 18M because of its small size and the peace of mind that comes with the thought of having your data securely stored in a reliable Transcend HDD," said Austin Huang, Regional Head - Sales, SAARC & APAC, Transcend. StoreJet 18M mini portable hard drive offers good looks and features a dual-stage shock-protection system that incorporates internal suspension technology with an extra-durable, vibration/impact-dampening silicone outer shell. It meets rigorous U.S. military drop-test standards. StoreJet 18M is compliant with USB 2.0 specifications and has auto-backup button that lets users instantly backup and synchronize data with their notebook or desktop PC. It can transfer data at a speed up to 480Mb/s. This portable hard drive comes with a warranty of two years and is priced at 6600.
